  • A video with all the vocabulary pronounced and translated (look below for the yellow screenshot). The video was posted to help parents hear and better understand the language that their children are bringing home! Feel free to share the link with them.  
  • Word cards. Note that these are generally used in later years of Hebrew Through Movement study when children are working on Print Literacy through HTM.

PICTURE CARDS

These photos illustrate HTM Yom Ha'atzmaut vocabulary from the most recent edition of the curriculum guide. Check to see which photos match the Option you are teaching then print those one-per-page, ideally in color. If you are teaching virtually,  send your children printed copies of these photos, 2 or 4 per page. While teaching you can ask them to "lift up" (and show you)  the picture of whatever word you have said.

You may wish to supplement these pictures with others of your own or objects (e.g., to illustrate "maps" or "pictures").
